1. About Afterglow Post

1.1 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all subscriptions and other contracts between you ("you", "subscriber") and Afterglow Post ("Afterglow Post", "we", "us") for the Afterglow Post subscription service.

1.2 By purchasing a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1.3 The subscription is offered only to consumers in countries within the European Union and the United Kingdom.

2. Service description

2.1 Afterglow Post is a recurring subscription that provides you with a monthly physical print and an accompanying written story with erotic content.

2.2 The story is delivered only in printed form together with the physical print. No digital version of the story is provided.

2.3 The exact style and theme of the prints and stories may change from month to month. We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the format or artistic content of the subscription, provided that the overall nature of the service remains the same.

3. Eligibility and 18+ requirement

3.1 The Afterglow Post subscription is strictly for adults only. You may only subscribe if you are at least 18 years old and it is legal for you to access erotic content in your country of residence.

3.2 By creating a subscription and by each use of our service, you confirm that:

3.3 If we have reason to believe that you are under 18, or that you have misrepresented your age, we may immediately terminate your subscription and stop further deliveries.

3.4 We may, in specific cases where we reasonably doubt your age, ask you to provide appropriate proof of age. If you do not provide satisfactory proof, we may cancel or refuse your subscription.

4. Prices, currency and taxes

4.1 Subscription prices are shown on our website. Prices include applicable VAT and standard shipping costs within the EU and the UK.

4.2 Subscriptions can be paid in CZK, EUR or GBP, as indicated at checkout.

4.3 We may change our prices from time to time. Any price change will not affect an ongoing billing period and will be communicated to you in advance in a clear and timely manner before the next renewal.

5. Subscription options and duration

5.2 Your subscription is concluded when your payment is successfully processed and confirmed by our payment processor (Stripe). At that moment, a contract between you and us is formed.

5.3 Your subscription continues indefinitely with recurring monthly or yearly payments (depending on your choice) until you cancel in accordance with clause 8.

6. Payment and billing

6.1 Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge the selected payment method for the relevant subscription price on a recurring basis.

6.2 You must ensure that your payment details are accurate and kept up to date so that recurring payments can be processed.

6.3 If a payment cannot be collected (for example due to expiry of the payment method or insufficient funds), we may suspend your subscription deliveries until payment is successfully taken.

7. Shipping, delivery and risk

7.1 We currently deliver only within the European Union and the United Kingdom. Standard shipping costs are included in the subscription price.

7.2 For each subscription cycle, prints are prepared and dispatched after the 20th of the relevant month. Our target delivery time is within 10 business days after the 20th for addresses within the EU and the UK.

7.3 Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by factors outside our control, such as postal delays or customs checks.

7.4 Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to the delivery address you provided. If a shipment does not arrive or arrives damaged, please contact us within a reasonable time at support@afterglowpost.com so we can look into a replacement where appropriate.

7.5 You are responsible for ensuring that your delivery address is correct and kept up to date in your account or Stripe customer portal. We are not responsible for failed deliveries due to an incorrect or outdated address.

8. Cancellation by you

8.1 You may cancel your auto-renewing subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

8.2 You can cancel by logging into your account, going to "Manage subscription" and using the "Cancel subscription" button.

8.3 Once your cancellation is effective, you will not be charged for future billing periods and no further prints will be shipped after the last paid period.

9. Right of withdrawal and refunds (EU/UK consumers)

9.1 If you are an EU or UK consumer, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date the contract is concluded (i.e. the date of our order confirmation email for your first subscription purchase), unless one of the exceptions provided by law applies.

9.2 When you complete your purchase, you expressly request that we start performance of the contract before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, so that we can prepare and ship your first print without waiting 14 days.

9.3 If you exercise your right of withdrawal before we have dispatched your first print for the initial subscription term, we will refund your first subscription payment in full within 14 days of receiving your clear withdrawal request, using the same payment method you used, unless you agree otherwise.

9.4 Once we have dispatched your first print for the initial subscription term, your statutory right of withdrawal for that first subscription period ends because you have explicitly requested that we start performance during the withdrawal period and the service has then been fully performed for that period.

9.5 To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (for example by email to support@afterglowpost.com). You may use any standard withdrawal form provided under EU/UK law, but this is not obligatory.

9.6 These withdrawal rules apply only to the first subscription contract. For subsequent renewals, your primary right is to cancel the subscription for the future in accordance with clause 8.

10. Our right to terminate or suspend

10.1 We may suspend or terminate your subscription with reasonable notice if:

11. Intellectual property and permitted use

11.1 All artwork, stories and any other content supplied under the Afterglow Post subscription, as well as the Afterglow Post brand, are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of Afterglow Post or its licensors.

11.2 When you subscribe, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the prints and stories for your own enjoyment.

12.1 We are liable for damage you suffer only where this is caused by our breach of these Terms or by our negligence, and only to the extent required under applicable mandatory consumer protection law.

13.1 We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law or in our service. The most current version will always be available on our website.

13.2 If we make changes that materially affect your ongoing subscription, we will inform you in advance in a clear way. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.

14.1 If you have any questions, concerns or complaints about your subscription or these Terms, you can contact us at: support@afterglowpost.com.

14.2 We aim to respond to complaints within a reasonable period and will work with you to try to find a fair solution.

14.3 If we do not resolve a dispute, you may have the right to refer it to an alternative dispute resolution body or online dispute resolution platform, as provided by EU/UK law.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

15.1 These Terms and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with them are governed by Dutch law.

15.2 Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer residing in another EU Member State or the UK, this choice of forum does not deprive you of any protection you are entitled to under mandatory laws of your country of residence.
